Tomato and Chilli Chutney

Our Tomato and Chilli Chutney is something a little different — a slow-cooked, rich preserve made from garden-grown tomatoes and a gentle chilli warmth that builds in the background without ever taking over.

This is proper homemade chutney in the old-fashioned sense: deeply savoury, slightly tangy, and with enough body to sit proudly alongside a ploughman's lunch or a wedge of mature cheddar. It's the kind of thing that makes shop-bought chutney taste rather sad by comparison.

It also works beautifully with cold meats, sausage rolls, pork pies, or simply spread across crackers when you want something a little more interesting.
